Everyone and every child deserves an equal chance regardless of their background; a seat at the table together with their peers, to learn, develop and grow together through a great support system. However, there exists an invisible distinction, a barrier that separates the haves and have not’s, one which extends down to innocent children who barely have a say and are fully dependent on adults. Our vision at TLA has been to provide opportunities to children that live in economically challenged areas where big brand childcare facilities ignore, leaving families with childcare needs at a disadvantage. In these communities we find facilities providing subpar care and failing to prepare the children for their entry into preschool.

Over the last 24 months our founders leased a 7,500 sq. foot former US Bank branch facility. Then over $270,000 investment was injected into the facility under this lease. This investment allowed us to renovate our facility. Architects helped to design a purpose-built state certified childcare facility by designing for contractors to add emergency exits, classrooms and infant care sections, child and disabled accessible restrooms, 15 tons of redundant heating and air, state certified meal preparation kitchen, and child safety design.
