Instead encourages you to make small changes to your daily routine and then donates the savings into an account for charity. For instance, if you quit smoking, or started brewing your coffee at home instead of going to Starbucks, Instead would calculate the savings and then donate it to the charity of your choice on your behalf.
While not technically a charity app, SavingStar is still a useful app for donations. The app helps you make the most of all of those rewards cards you have in your wallet and pays you money for using them. The money earned can then be donated to individual charities on your behalf.
